Young love is tragically and needlessly cut short
As part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR), System1 Agency set itself the challenge of creating a 5-Star ad to reduce deaths associated with texting and driving. The U.S. National Safety Council reports that mobile phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million collisions in the U.S. alone each year.
We used our knowledge and expertise in behavioural science to create an emotional film because we knew it could have an impact in changing attitudes and behaviours.
The film shows how a couple’s young love is tragically and needlessly cut short due to texting while driving. The film alludes to a pivotal moment in the couple’s relationship, where long-term commitments are possibly about to be made, when suddenly the viewer is robbed of what happens next. The film concludes by stating, “There’s No Next If You Text.”
